Stopped in while traveling for work, friendly staff, friendly clientele, good bar food.

We had pizza and beer and a lemon drop martini. The supreme pizza is amazing. I don't know how they do it - the way they sprinkle the pizza with the onion and toppings. Gives a nice bite and allows to savor each topping.

I loved this place!! An absolute hidden gem..like are you kidding me?!!!!!!!!!! So fun, so casual. Such amazing bar food for being a bar. I would recommend any occasion for this..it's that good. I went with my parents after work one night. The service was awesome for being such a busy night! I will be back here..you bet your bottom dollar.

Water's Edge.... Not sure the name explains the restaurant but don't criticize the name for the service and the food. Service was spot on. The food took a little while but was good and worth the wait. Everyone is struggling for some reason to keep good help. I'm only assuming this place is no different. Plenty of local good people here so get there early if you want a good seat.

Great local bar & grill just down the road from the main entrance to Alum Creek State Park. There are a zillion spots to eat & drink in the northwest Columbus area, but try something local! Galena/Alum Creek has some fancy digs around it, so enjoy the drive. Water's Edge is right at the southeast corner of Cheshire & Africa and you might miss it if you aren't paying attention. It's a smaller spot but the U-shaped bar has plenty of seats in front of the taps. I love a regional find, so I opted for Great Lakes Brewing's 'Oktoberfest', a super fall Marzen with just the right malty taste. A great beer calls for a burger or wings, but I went with the Baja chicken sandwich, a fabulous option with jalapeños, guac, & pepper Jack atop a grilled chicken breast. It was perfectly done, a juicy chicken cutlet that accompanied just the right amount of spice & flavor with the avocado and jalapeños. Plenty of local memorabilia adorns the place, jerseys from Olentangy Berlin & more, plus plenty of local accompaniments. Weekly specials are available and the food is pretty darn good, with the service to match. I could see this being a local hangout if you're a water enthusiast or just local, and being near the state park gives you an option for anyone's appetite. Great spot!

Just played a very hot baseball gane at Olentangy Berlin High School. I found Waters Edge on Yelp. We wanted to catch the Reds game. Very small with 7 booths and 6 four-tops plus a patio. We are thankful for the AC! Kiddo ordered a pepperoni pizza, hubs a jalapeno burger and I ordered the Cobb salad. Our waitress was efficient buzzing around the dining room and kept everyone's drink topped off. Surprising things about our meal: Thin crust pizza; dough made in house House made tomato sauce for dipping the mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks seemed to be longer than normal cheese stick apps. Hubs thought they were more square than round. But greasy. Definitely greasy! The ted sauce was worth its weight in gold! Burger was juicy. The fresh jalapenos was very tasty. There was a generous amount if guacamole under the bun. The taste of guac over-powered the burger. If you love guac- this burger is for you! The fries were a medium cut- smaller than steak fries but larger than skinny fries seasoned with the crispy crust. Yummy! The pizza was greasy, with a generous amount of cheese and pepperoni! But good if you are ok with the grease. Somehow I failed to take a picture of my cobb salad. It was an iceberg romain mixture served with a hard boiled egg, bacon, tomato, gorgonzola and greek dressing. I substituted for Ranch. The salad was small for a $14 entree price but I did receive a generous piece of grilled chicken. The ranch was heavy on the mayo. I wasn't a big fan. Overall the salad is rated a 3.5 of 5 stars. Great TVs. Everyone was able to easily watch the game. We would return.

I've been coming here every week for the past couple years. What keeps me coming back you ask? Stromboli. Wings. Service. Sam, one of the bartenders, is darling and will somehow remember your drink order. Jillian, one of the servers, is a breath of fresh air and always has a smile on her face. The owner is a workhorse and will serve and bus tables when its busy. If you're lucky, you'll get the occasional random person that stumbles in and get caught up in the drama of it all. It's a great casual joint that makes you feel at home. Get the Stromboli, sit at the bar, trust me. 10/10 would recommend. But don't make it too busy that I don't want to come any more.

Pretty nice little place on the side of the road and right next to an ice cream shack! It has a nice sports bar feel with plenty of screens and games to play! The food menu was nice a short with a ton of options. They had a few nice beers on tap and our waitress was super friendly and had a few suggestions since this was our first stop to this restaurant. The onion petals and Italian sub were cooked perfectly. The buffalo Stromboli was delicious but the dough was under cooked on the inside, probably could have used only a few more minutes and would have been perfect. This was a nice motorcycle ride from Pickerington and the perfect distance away tat you could get here without stopping. Since the ice cream shack was so good next to it we will definitely be coming back to try the remainder of the menu - nice work!

I was in the area for an ice cream event, and decided to grab dinner before dessert. There's several areas to get food in the area I believe, but this one stood out to me (cool name) and it has good reviews! We walked in into a small sports / dive bar, and it was pretty packed & loud so we asked to sit outside. Their patio was a good size and the tables were spacious between everyone else, so preferred to sit out there anyway. For such a small spot, their menu was surprisingly was filled with a large variety of options! It had a bit of everything. but I didn't want to fill up too much. I had to save room for dessert at the ice cream parlor nearby. I brought my mom here, so we split the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was really hot when it came out so we ended up mixing it a bit, and it was so even better with the bread! Definitely shareable size. I ordered the Super Italian Sub, and it was filled with like 5 meats and even had banana peppers which gave the sub a good flavor! It was delicious & really filling, I only ended up eating half of it and saved the rest of next day. My mom had the Steak Gyro which I got to try but thought it was just alright. I gotta have lamb when ordering gyros, everyone knows the rule! But to each his own. Our server was really attentive and nice. She served everything really timely, and checked on us at good times if we needed anything. If we're ever in the area, I'd definitely come back here!
